If the mayor believes this, he is stupid. All one needs to do is look up the definition of "fiat currency" in any dictionary. If he is being disingenuous and trying to manipulate public opinion, he is a liar.

Bloomberg is nauseating. Between ignorant comments like these and his boast that he has his own, private army (NYPD), the guy has become an insufferable jerk.
Mike, I think the word is "Fascist", along many other US Mayors.
This is ridiculous. How did a guy like Bloomberg ever grow a company?
