Joe Weisenthal — Richard Koo: Democracy In Europe Is At Risk Of Collapse

Democracy is also under threat in a way Koo doesn't treat, namely the subjugation of democracy on behalf of stability. The rise to power of Italian PM Mario Monti -- an unelected technocrat who was basically put in place by the ECB -- is a good example of that.

No, thanks.

As many politicians and hypocrites, good at denouncing wrong stuff, but horrible in their own doings. N.F. own party is not specially looking for the good of working class neither specially pro-democracy & progress.

NF's rants were good, though with a misplaced confidence in "the market" He is no MMTer, and does not understand the capabilities of Central Banks. However, he is right about the anti-democratic nature of the Euro as it is currently structured.
